Here Comes Spring.

Maybe some of you have already had Spring vacation, but maybe some of you are still looking forward to it. After having the Winter blues, with your nose in the books, life seems to have been lived in the nooks, maybe even the cracks, and with the hacks, and now you are to the max and all you want to do is to bust out and enjoy. Well, it’s time to thaw out because it’s Spring.
Ed. Sheeran sings this in his recording of “Spring.” “We can’t let winter win.
That’s why I’m holding out for spring. Oh, what a state we’re in. I’ll keep holding out for spring.”
The Beatles said this in their song, “Here Comes The Sun”: “Little darling, it’s
been a long, cold, lonely winter/ Little darling, it feels like years since it’s been here/Here comes the sun.”
The Beach Boys called it “Spring vacation, good vibrations.”
As much as we long for Spring, with Spring comes the rain. Yes, April showers bring May flowers but even with the rain, storms may come. With every season comes the good and the bad. The rain, the snow, the heat, the cold, it’s all a part of life. The ups and downs are all part of the cycle of life. We have to learn to go with the flow. If we are too rigid we will crack. If we are too flexible we will not be able to stand. We have to have a proper balance in life, not too, hard, not too soft. Our lives must be in balance.
According to the Mayo Clinic here are seven tips for a happier life:
Eat nourishing food. A well balanced diet is the core to health and well being
Sleep seven to eight hours per night. It’s the best thing you can do to set yourself up for a successful, energized day.
Keep company with good people. People who have a positive attitude toward
life will energize you.
Avoid news overdose. Stay connected, yes, but too much can bring you down.
Get regular exercise. Exercise relieves stress and tension, strengthens muscles
and boosts endurance, and helps your body work more efficiently during other physical tasks or activities.
Do something meaningful each day. Do something you enjoy every day, even if it’s a simple act like cooking a healthy meal or listening to your favorite song.
Think good thoughts for others. Judging others can cause us to place judgment on ourselves, and that type of negative internal dialogue can be exhausting.
Focus on your spiritual self. Church is a great place to meet people.

We all have to live a conscientious life, well, like stopping and smelling the roses. Stop and look around you and enjoy the scenery. You know nature is quite a beauty. Life might throw you a punch, but don’t let it knock you out. Always remember that after the storm the rainbow appears to tell you life will go on. Enjoy Spring. Enjoy Spring vacation. Enjoy and remember this, we all have our trials and tribulations in life, it is all part of life, but it’s up to you if you will let it conquer you or you will conquer it. Just think about this, after the dread of Winter comes the flowers of Spring. It may be your time to bloom after a hard Winter.
